A grandfather has made an astonishing recovery after surviving a horrifying skydiving accident. The 55-year-old is not only up and walking again, he's going one step further. Christopher Rantall and his instructor Arron Toepfer fell 10,000 feet, both their main and reserve parachutes failed they hit a torquay paddock at 200 kilometres an hour, Arron heroically cushioned Chris's fall the instructor later died and Chris was critically injured. 7NEWS at 6pm.
