Happy end to Hurricane Season! What a bizarre season it was. For the first time in a decade, there were no hurricane landfalls in the U.S. Even more interesting is ZERO hurricanes formed in the Gulf. Only one tropical storm made landfall in the U.S. - Chantal right here in the Grand Strand with gusts of around 50 mph (video below shot by me on Ocean Blvd on Myrtle Beach as Chantal blew ashore).
