Locally based pastry chef Oralia Perez, who works at the Post Oak Hotel, is competing in a new series.

"Chopped" champion and local chef Kayla Pfeiffer is taking on a new Food Network competition that airs March 4 at 9 p.m.

Food Network doesn't seem to be done with The Kitchen, and the cast of the cooking series just gave an update.
