Apple announced the M4 iPad Air on Monday, ahead of the company's big March 4 event. This new iPad Air swaps out the M3 chip for the M4 chip, which comes with 12GB of RAM. Aside from the chip upgrades, this is the exact same iPad Air as the M3 variant, including in design, display, and cameras.

Apple says thousands of jobs will be created by expanding its Houston campus, which was completed ahead of schedule and began operations last October.

Apple announced a new age verification tool in Utah and Louisiana, as well as Brazil, Australia and Singapore to ensure users are 18+ before downloading certain apps.
